Sometimes you want to take a booking page offline for a while — without deleting the apartment and without losing its settings. Hiding an apartment removes its page from the internet, and you restore it with a single click when you start taking guests again.
When to hide an apartment
- Renovation or a fault — the property is temporarily unfit to rent.
- Your own stay or an off-season break — you don't want to take bookings for a longer period.
- A profile still in progress — you're adding photos and a description and prefer guests to see the page only once it's finished.
To block individual dates (e.g. a week of your own stay), use manual date blocking — hiding is for taking the whole apartment page offline.
How to hide an apartment
You have two equivalent places — both actions do the same thing (toggle the apartment's visibility).
From the apartment settings
Works even when you have a single apartment. Go to Settings → Apartment. In the header, next to the property name, click "⊘ Hide apartment". From that moment the page is offline. The same button turns into "👁 Show apartment" — click it to bring the page back.
From the apartment list
When you run several properties, go to the Apartments section in the panel menu. Next to each apartment you'll find a "🙈 Hide" button (or "Show" if the property is already hidden). Handy when you want to manage the visibility of many properties from one place.
What guests see when an apartment is hidden
- The property's booking page (
your-name.erphome.pl/apartment-slug) stops displaying — the guest sees a message that the apartment was not found. - Catalog — if you have several apartments, the hidden property disappears from the list on your home page. The apartment catalog shows only visible properties.
- Search engines — over time they drop the hidden page from results, because it returns a "not found" status.
Your data stays untouched
Hiding deletes nothing. Bookings, pricing, photos, description, language versions and connected iCal calendars all stay in place. When you click "👁 Show apartment", the page comes back exactly as you left it — you don't have to configure anything again.
You can't hide your only visible apartment
If your account has just one visible apartment, the hide button is disabled — an account always keeps at least one page live. To hide your last property, first add another apartment and set it as visible.
Hiding vs deleting
These are two different operations:
- Hiding — reversible. The page disappears from the internet, the data stays, and you restore it with one click. Use it when you plan to come back.
- Deleting — permanent removal of the apartment from the panel (the "Delete" button is available only with more than one property). The booking history stays in the database on the server, but the apartment disappears from the panel. Use it when you're giving up the property for good.
In most cases — a break, a renovation, the low season — you want to hide, not delete.
