The extra-guest surcharge lets you vary the price by the number of people — e.g. 2 people pay the base price, and each additional person adds a fixed amount per night. The system calculates the total price itself and shows it to the guest when they pick dates.
Where to set it
Settings → Pricing → the "Surcharge for the number of guests" card.
Two configuration fields
Guests in the base price — how many people are included in the standard price. E.g. 2 means the first 2 people pay the same rate as 1 guest.
Surcharge per additional person (PLN/night) — the amount added to the price/night for each person above the limit.
"Guests in the base price" is a pricing setting — don't confuse it with the "Min./Max. guests" limits, which decide how many people can book at all. You set those in the apartment's basic information.
Example: 350 PLN + 40 PLN/guest above 2
With a base price of 350 PLN, a limit of 2 guests and a 40 PLN/night surcharge:

How the guest sees it
On the booking page, after selecting dates and the number of guests, the price updates in real time. The guest sees the total price — they don't see the "base + surcharge" breakdown.
When to use it
The extra-guest surcharge works well when:
- The apartment can host 2–6 people, but utility usage grows with each additional person.
- You want to encourage small-group bookings with a lower entry price.
- The apartment fits e.g. a maximum of 6 guests, but comfortably only 4.
If the price is independent of the number of guests — leave both fields empty or enter 0.
