Booking lead time is the time window in which guests can make bookings. You can limit it from below (minimum lead time) and from above (maximum lead time).
Where to set it
Settings → Apartment → the "General information" section → the "Min. lead time (days)" and "Max. lead time (days)" fields.
Minimum lead time
The minimum lead time defines how many full days must pass between submitting a booking and the check-in date.

0 | Same-day booking allowed (the guest can check in the same day) |
1 | Earliest check-in tomorrow |
2 | Earliest check-in the day after tomorrow |
7 | A week's lead time — the guest must book at least a week before arrival |
When to set a min. lead time:
- If you need time to confirm a booking and prepare the apartment.
- If you can't accept guests at the last minute (you're at work, no access to the key box, etc.).
- If you want to avoid last-minute bookings without the chance to react properly.
Enter 0 if you accept same-day bookings (e.g. you have a key box with a code and don't require a personal handover).
Maximum lead time
The maximum lead time defines how far into the future guests can book.

90 | A quarter ahead |
180 | Half a year ahead |
365 | A year ahead |
When to limit the maximum lead time:
- If your seasonal prices and availability may change — you don't want someone to lock in New Year's two years ahead at the base price.
- If you plan renovations or breaks and aren't sure of availability beyond half a year.
Enter 0 if you don't want any limit.
How the guest sees it
In the calendar on the guest page:
- Days before the minimum lead time are inactive (gray, can't be selected).
- Days beyond the maximum lead time are inactive (gray or not shown).
A message in the form informs the guest that the selected date is outside the booking window.
Example configuration
For an apartment with a key box, where the owner wants time to respond but accepts bookings up to a year ahead:
- Min. lead time: 2 days
- Max. lead time: 365 days
For an apartment handled personally with limited availability:
- Min. lead time: 3 days
- Max. lead time: 180 days
